Jim Perkins

Exploring and dreaming was an inherent part of Jim’s youth while growing up on a small farm in southern Michigan. His inquisitive nature to seek out a challenge and a desire to help others to learn, to improve and to develop their skills was energized by his involvement in school and community activities, the support of his parents and the encouragement of his teachers.

Jim earned his BS in Education from Michigan State University and his MA in Athletic Administration from Central Michigan University. After serving 21 years as a teacher-coach, he held a variety of leadership roles in Manufacturing Operations and Human Resources in his 22-year career with a leading automotive interior manufacturer in Holland, MI. He moved to the Huntsville area in 2004 to manage the stamping operations for Ridgeview Industries. After his retirement he spent a year of coaching at Westminster Christian Academy before joining the CRB team as an administrative assistant in 2009.

Jim and his wife Tricia have four sons and a daughter along with seven grandchildren.
